It gives a general overview of the history and the first developments of the Forces in the civil war. The article explains the structure and function of the different branches of the Armed Forces, as well as the demographics involved.
This article did help me because it gave me a more advanced view and perspective on how the US Armed Forces works. It gives me a better idea on what my question will be and how I will come up with my question.
